Unit price perHirsch Pinot Nero Riserva 2018 is produced in the Steinhaus estate located almost 600 meters above sea level, in a position overlooking the Adige valley. The property consists of 7 hectares of vineyards. The climatic conditions of Bucholz di Salorno are characterized by strong temperature fluctuations with hot days influenced by the Mediterranean climate and cold nights with very fresh winds coming from the mountains.
Winemaking
The grapes are harvested manually in small boxes of 20 kg. The grapes are then destemmed, trying to respect the integrity of the berry and the stalk as much as possible. After gentle pressing, fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, where the must comes into contact with the skins and is gently stirred to extract the aromatic and coloring substances they contain. At the end of the maceration, part of the wine remains in steel containers and the other part is placed in French oak barrels for ageing. After about a year, the wines are blended, and an additional 4 months of aging prepare them for bottling. The wines are put on the market after a minimum of 4 months of refining in the bottle.
Dress
Transparent and shiny ruby red.
Nose

Production
This area is located near the “Gran Sasso” a massif of the Apennines and benefits from a microclimate in which the vines flourish and offer fine wines with character. Introduced in Abruzzo at the beginning of the 19th century, the Montepulciano grape spread throughout the region to become the only red grape in the region. Finally, the “Denominazione di Origine Controllata e Garantita” was approved for the “Teramane Hills” production sub-zone.

Regarding the winemaking process, the harvest is done manually. Thus, only the best grapes are selected. This is then done by controlling the fermentation according to the quality of the grapes of the year. Then comes an aging in wood for 18 months and finally a refining in bottles for a year. This wine is produced in limited quantities. Thus, only the best vintages are put on the market.

Unit price perThe Rosso IGT Veneto “Novello” – without added sulphites is a PIWI wine, i.e. from vines resistant to fungal diseases. It is thus the result of constant human research and selection, over several decades, of crosses between varieties of vitis vinifera and American vine varieties (resistant to fungal diseases). The result for this wine is the minimum number of treatments carried out and the resulting environmental impact for its creation.
Winemaking
The maceration is 100% carbonic. Barely harvested, the grapes are poured into an airtight vat saturated with carbon dioxide for about a week. Inside the vat, the bunches at the bottom remain pressed by the weight of the grapes above.
The natural crushing of the grapes produces the formation of a must which, thanks to enzymes, begins to ferment, producing alcohol and additional carbon dioxide.
Malolactic fermentation then begins. Then the must is pressed and placed in a tank where, in a few days, the sugar will turn into alcohol.
Dress
Its color is ruby red with purple hues.
Nose
Notes of violet and red berries.
Stuffy
The Rosso IGT Veneto is soft, harmonious and fruity.
