Rosato Toscana IGT 2023 Organic – Castello di Radda is produced in the heart of the Chianti Classico region. The vines are located 400 meters above sea level. This wonderful 100% Sangiovese rosé comes from young vines. The grapes are picked by hand in mid-September.
Winemaking
To start, the grapes are immediately pressed and the must obtained is decanted for 12 hours at 5°C. It is then transferred to small stainless steel vats at 14°C where the alcoholic fermentation takes place for 20 days. The resulting wine will continue to mature on fine lees until it is bottled in February.
