The Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOC 2022 “Rubiolo” is produced from the vines of Montepulciano d'Abruzzo facing south on clay-limestone soil.
“Rubiolo” thus has a lot of character while being accessible to all palates. Also a very high quality table wine.
First, harvesting is done manually. Maceration is controlled on the skins of the grapes, followed by a long pressing of the must. After fermentation, the wine is aged partly in medium-sized barrels and partly in stainless steel tanks for 6/8 months before being bottled.
The robe of Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOC “Rubiolo” is garnet.
Its nose offers a beautiful palette of red fruits.
On the palate, it is a wine with body, good length and pleasant tannins.
