LVX Gin was produced in 2018 at the Saconnex d'Arve distillery, the oldest in Geneva. It has been active for over 120 years.
The quality of its recipe is the result of a rigorous process. The selection of plants, the harmonization of aromas as well as a distillation in small quantities. Today produced at the Féchy distillery in collaboration with Alex Paccot, the result remains magical. All this thanks to the marc still, masterfully handled by Alex!
This gin is made from Swiss grain alcohol and nine carefully selected botanicals in Switzerland and around the world. This LVX Gin asserts itself with elegance and firmness through its floral and spicy notes.
Juniper berry and angelica root reveal themselves as soon as it is tasted, while elderflower delicately creates an unexpected roundness.
Finally, its long and delicately peppery finish authenticates a typical London Dry Gin distillation.
Production
From distillation to bottling and labeling, each bottle is numbered manually. This Gin is elaborated with rigor and passion by a team of audacious epicureans. The distillation is therefore done in small quantities and allows the consistency and quality of the product.
The production of LVX Gin is artisanal. Part of the magic of this unique Gin also lies in the 1945 marc still that we use with Alex Paccot at the Féchy distillery.
Thanks to steam cooking and the four levels of distillation, the result is exceptional… and no doubt a little mysterious. Plants and bark selected around the world macerate separately in the still.
