The Franciacorta DOCG Rosé “Monique” is produced by Azienda Agricola Lo Sparviere. This sparkling wine is produced exclusively in the territory bearing the same name in the province of Brescia in Lombardy.
This very high quality sparkling wine is produced according to the traditional or Champagne method (refermentation in the bottle).
Franciacorta is produced with 100% hand-picked and carefully selected Pinot Noir grapes. The grapes are cooled at 4°C for 24 to 36 hours to reach a temperature of 10°C. This process will favor the extraction of the Pinot Noir aromas. The cold grapes are then macerated under press for 8 to 12 hours to extract the desired color and aromas. The fermentation is finally done at a temperature between 15 and 17°C, partly in stainless steel tanks and partly in small oak barrels.
Finally, Franciacorta Rosé Monique is aged on the lees in bottles (second fermentation) for 24 months before being tasted and ready to enjoy.
Fragrances of rose water and red fruits.
Elegant, structured, a slight acidity that blends with the sapid notes and exalts its aromas.
Very fine and delicate bubbles.
