BST Sangiovese & Cabernet Sauvignon Toscana IGT 2019 has the designation “Baby Super Tuscan“. He gets it because unlike their Super Tuscan “Senior” cousins, they are bred exclusively in stainless steel. This technique thus makes these wines pleasant, fresh and also ready to drink. They are therefore characterized by fruity notes and a pleasant sweet taste.
Producer
The Folonari estates embody the excellence of Tuscany. An expression of the territories most suitable for wine production: Chianti Classico, Montalcino, Montepulciano, Bolgheri and Montecucco in Maremma.
Winemaking
To begin with, these grapes are of course harvested when they reach perfect maturity. Then fermentation continues at 28°C. The maceration on the skins then takes place in stainless steel tanks. Finally, the maturation is always in stainless steel tanks. This is effectively characterized by very frequent but also oxygenating decantations.
Dress
The dress of this wine is first of all purple red, intense but also with brilliant purple reflections.
Nose
On the nose, this BST Sangiovese & Cabernet Sauvignon offers scents of black cherry, red fruits, blueberries, currants but also blackberries. He is frank and persistent.

It is soft on the palate with a youthful scent, harmonious with soft tannins and notes of ripe fruit.
