Lacrima di Morro d’Alba Superiore is an ancient grape variety native to the Marche region on the Adriatic Sea.

Lacrima di Morro d’Alba Superiore Guardengo is produced from the oldest vines of the estate. Finally, the microclimate and the fertility of the land allow these old vines to express the full character of Lacrima.

Finally, this wine is aged for 6 months in vitrified cement barrels.

On the nose this wine offers aromas of raspberry and rose. Its dress is of a purple color. After tasting it you will remember this wine for the rest of your life.

Producer

Azienda Agricola Lucchetti is a family of farmers who strongly believe in indigenous viticulture.

Their story begins with their founder Armando, a tenacious farmer, expert in the technique of grafting. Armando was one of the first to believe in the indigenous grape varieties of the region, such as Lacrima and Verdicchio. He then carefully selected the best vines to propagate. The vast majority of the oldest vineyards in the region were grafted by him. In 1966, he and his son bought the land where the winery now stands. From there began the conversion into a specialized vineyard, bottling their first production in 1991.

The company is located in Morro d’Alba, a town known as the heart of the Lacrima grape. Today it has about 30 hectares cultivated only with autochthonous grape varieties: Lacrima and Verdicchio.

Their mission is to achieve sustainable viticulture, safeguarding biodiversity. In addition, obtaining true son of the soil wines representing their terroir is their priority.

It is precisely for this reason that since 2016 the company has been practicing organic viticulture, using only contact products and eliminating all cryptogamic agents of chemical origin.
